A long long time ago
back in days of yore
there lived an old old man
who walked upon the shore
he didn't know a thing
except for that which he was told
and as he was so old
his feet were getting cold
he ran up to a lighthouse
and peered inside a room
he couldn't see a single thing
amidst all of the gloom
but with some prying and some wit
his eyes fell on a man
a stopwatch in his hand
he looked so young and grand
he said old man what are you doing here
it's dark and a storm is coming
old man your bones must be aching
your soul is nearly for the taking
come rest your feet
so the old man took a pause
his hand cupped to one side
the young man looked surprised
or so he did surmise
my name is Gary said the man
and it was all too clear
the old man ran with fear
for he had gotten near
the convict Gary Gulliver
the raging lunatic
the old man felt so sick
his breath was getting quick
he fell down to the bottom
of the shore he knew so well
and as his body fell
the waves began to swell
they washed the old man out to sea
he died right there and then
and that my dear old friends
is how our story ends
